I was born in Chicago but have lived in the Philadelphia area longer than anywhere else. It has been an interesting journey. My side of the family still lives in the Chicago area, and many of us are HUGE Chicago Cub fans. “One day,” we kept saying until the 2016 World Series! (Now we say, "Next!) Before I graduated from college with a degree in business, I knew what I wanted to do—kind of. You see, I had a finance professor who made the field of investments come alive. It was then that I sensed that the world of finance and investments was home and I began thinking about helping people with their investment portfolios.
I moved to the Philadelphia area when I was in my mid-20s. I kept hearing about how bad the sports teams were, even though the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers all had their share of winning seasons. The complaining was less about losing and more about not winning again and again! It was a lesson that easily applied to the world of finance. Although each time (or business cycle) is different from the last one, most of us like winners and like to win at the game of life—however you define it. An early lesson was to act on my true passion: to be the best I can be at helping people manage their financial resources and reach financial freedom. This later was transformed into building a team with the same commitment and carried to our clients through world-class service.
After working for two large financial services companies—one in securities, one in insurance—I worked up the courage to become independent and open my own business with the guidance of an astute business associate. Videre Asset Management opened its doors in the summer of 2000 (not a very good market I might add). We later renamed it Videre Wealth Management to better reflect our culture. Our goal is to help business owners, executives and professionals build a safe, secure, and stress-free retirement that they can enjoy.
Along the way, I got married to the love of my life, Grace, and we had two wonderful children. Our favorite outdoor activity is alpine skiing. (In fact, Grace and I met on a ski trip in Colorado—and I proposed to her the following ski season on the side of a ski hill in Vermont!) In addition family ski trips, I love to share my passion for teaching adults and children. During ski season, I teach alpine skiing at a resort in the Pocono Mountains (in Pennsylvania) on a part-time basis. In the “off-season”, I spend time with the family, play golf and cycle. Everybody in the family gets exercise, and our son is a competitive rock climber. Our daughter is now in her 2nd year of college (yikes)!
Today, we strive as a company to remain current with market trends and resourceful to our clients. One of our corporate tenets is KAIZEN—the Japanese word for "improvement." The full meaning is a bit broader, but it's a daily reminder of one of our personal and professional responsibilities. I hope you enjoy reading about the Videre team and how our collective spirit is designed around excellence in customer service.

Vice President, Finance
I joined my husband (Jim) at Videre Wealth Management, Inc., in the spring of 2000 in order to help build the business. My focus is on managing the accounting and finance functions for the office, ranging from corporate taxes, payroll, accounts payable, and receivables.
Additionally, I have been a consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics (MK) since 2003, achieving the status of independent sales director in 2007. I am able to apply the customer service aspect of my MK business to Videre with the same focus on excellence.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a BS in hotel, restaurant, and travel administration. I worked in the hotel industry as a catering sales director for 11 years before moving into financial and wealth management. I reside with Jim in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania, with our two children. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing with my family in the Poconos and Vermont, golfing with friends and family in the Poconos, traveling to various cities in the U.S. for Mary Kay events, and empowering women to be their best in their own Mary Kay businesses.

Registered Assistant/Office Manager
People work very hard to accumulate wealth and they deserve the highest level of service. I joined Videre Wealth Management in October 2014 as office manager and registered assistant to help deliver on that service. I direct a broad range of operational activities, including meeting preparation, client support, and financial product research and analysis. I also maintain Videre Wealth Management’s client relationship management system, wealth management software, and other software programs to keep the office running smoothly.
I grew up in the Downingtown area and then attended East Carolina University (ECU) where I earned a BS in marketing. Before coming to Videre, I worked for Vanguard for more than 16 years building relationships with high-net-worth retail clients. I also worked in the qualified plan marketplace managing relationships with institutional clients. I passed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam in 2004 and hold FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations (held through Commonwealth Financial Network®).
I married my right-after-college sweetheart and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters and a Vizsla named Copper. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching football (go Eagles), catching ECU Pirate football games, swimming, and sailing at Marsh Creek State Park, golfing, and helping coach our daughters’ youth soccer teams.
